Reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the scholarly quality, integrity, and credibility of the Xpertno International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research (XIJIR). We adhere to the highest standards of ethical and academic peer review:

Criteria for Reviewer Selection

Reviewers are carefully selected to ensure scholarly rigour and subject alignment. Each manuscript is typically reviewed by two senior experts and one early-career researcher. The inclusion of early-career reviewers is intended to support the development of future academic leaders while maintaining high standards.

Reviewers are selected based on the following criteria:

  • Subject Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the manuscript’s thematic or methodological area.
  • Academic Contribution: A record of publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals in relevant disciplines.
  • Ethical Independence: No conflicts of interest or recent collaborations with the manuscript’s authors.
  • Balanced Participation: Early-career researchers with a solid academic foundation and publication record are included to ensure fresh perspectives and foster inclusivity in peer review.
  • Diversity and Representation: Attention is given to reviewer diversity across gender, geography, and institutional background, reflecting the journal’s interdisciplinary and global outlook.

  • Advise on areas that need clarification, elaboration, or revision.

  1. Engage Only Within Your Expertise
  • Accept review assignments only when you are confident in your expertise on the manuscript’s subject matter.
  • Notify the editor promptly if the manuscript falls outside your domain.
